Trials are held between late February and early March to select a 1st team for each grade from the U9 up called the Sharks.
From U10 up the Sharks are likely to play in a Premier league which will entail travel all over Wellington and at times to the Kapiti Coast and the Wairarapa.
The other teams in each grade all have "ocean themed" names like Mackerel, Herring, Cod, Moki etc.
Capital Football organises the junior leagues, with other teams from the Wellington area.
When do they play & practice?
Games are on Saturday, normally between 8am and early afternoon.
Practice sessions times are arranged by the coach and manager of each team - normally on a weekday afternoon or early evening.
Sharks teams will have several practices a week; other teams usually have one practice per week.
